This is my 6th year as a school counselor. I graduated with my master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and worked as a school counselor for four years in Oklahoma before moving to Texas. My role as the academic counselor consists of keeping students on track for graduation by setting up their schedules, conducting periodic credit checks, meeting with students having academic or attendance issues, and completing graduation plans. My hope is to support each student's academic needs and to encourage them to reach their fullest potential by successfully graduating high school, allowing them to have more opportunities to succeed in their future endeavors.
Although I have relocated to Texas, I will always remain a Sooner fan! Ironically, I am engaged to a Longhorn. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, taking my dog to the park, catching up on some TV, or spending time with my family and friends.
