Sara Zavorka did not quite know what her vocational aspirations were at a young age. That, or she was just really indecisive (the latter is probably more true, to be honest). Consequently, Zavorka ultimately graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Educational Studies. This was after acquiring credits from 6 different colleges over the course of 6+ years all to add up to 197 college credit hours. She also comes with 3+ years of experience working at lead staff at Children's Association for Maximum Potential, where she had fostered a love for working with children with exceptionalities.
Now, Zavorka is a teacher with educational certifications in the following areas:
- EC-12 Special Education
- EC-12 Deaf Education
- EC-6 Generalist
She also has the following certifications:
- Track and Field Coach for Special Olympics
- First Aid
Her present goal for the vocational future is to lead her own self-contained unit at the elementary level, as well as holding the following additional certifications:
- G/T (Gifted and Talented)
- Technology/Computer Applications
Zavorka loves foxes, drawing, writing, chocolate, napping, and her chinchilla, Sizzler.
