My Education Philosophy...
I teach because I love the feeling that I am instilling the love to learn in these future leaders. I also believe teaching my students accountability and responsibility. These skills are important because without these skills learning becomes difficult and feels more like a chore. They have to know that the want to learn and try comes from them. That is why we tell our students to be proactive. They are in charge of themselves and their result of their learning. I teach to satisfy all the different learners in my classroom. I actively engage with a multitude of ways in my classroom to get my students excited. I really love the use of technology because it really makes my students enjoy and find learning relevant to them. I measure my effectiveness by using scores and daily assignments to help me reflect upon my practice. I seek feedback from colleagues to make sure we all are helping our student succeed by the end of the school year. I believe that it is important to make every student a priority. Not just one student in my class matters, but all of them matter to to me. I believe that having good communication with the parents and high commitment to my students is a priority.
