5th Grade Catapult Challenge

Our 5th grade classes competed in a STEM Challenge-Catapult Challenge. Students were able to launch marshmallows over 5 meters! The design challenge allowed each group to be creative and use the scientific process to make improvements on their prototypes.

Jubilee Rotary Interact Youth Day 2018

Today, Marcelina Garcia and Jasmine Rosales represented the Jubilee Rotary Interact Club at the Rotary Interact Youth Day celebration. It was held at Morgan's Wonderland Amusement Park.
Interact clubs from San Antonio and surrounding cities presented their service projects, networked, and planned for next year.

7th Grade students present PBL Science Projects to 5th grade.

"Shout Out" to our 7th grade science students, Mrs. Jarmon, and Mrs. Rios! They facilitated a mini-PBL where 7th grade students created an educational video on "The Relationship between the Earth, Sun, and the Moon". The finalists presented their video and answered questions for all 5th grade classes.
This was very successful for it's initial run. We hope to create and present more PBL's. The following students presented today;

2018 UTSA Engineering Technology Challenge

2018 Engineering Technology Challenge (ETC)!
Was held this past Saturday, April 21st with record participation of over 160 students.
