Today our JSA robotics club competed at St. Mary's University-SABest Robotics event.
Least important: is that we placed 23rd out of 44 teams (which I am extremely proud of for our students). Students were excited to participate and compete at that level.
--Students learned to be persistent in seeking solutions to engineering challenges.
--Students learned to work collaboratively in completing a common goal.
-- Students presented a marketing plan which exposed them to financial literacy in the real world.
--Students were members of Spirit committees which promoted fair play and competition.
--Students learned to value intrinsic rewards like finishing what most don't even attempt to begin. They gained Self Esteem and Self Worth that is hard to put a dollar value on.
**Thanks to Mr. McCormick, Mrs. Zavorka, Mrs. Perez-Galindo, Mr. Delgado, and Ms. Rudy Rodriguez.
Could not be more proud of them,
